Sarah J. Webber

Sarah J. Webber was born in St. Paul, MN in 1958 and had an early exposure to the arts and the outdoors.  She moved to Jackson, WY in 1987 and started to study with very noted artists such as Bill Freeman, Phil Beck, Scott Christensen and after moving to California, Glenn Dean.

Through hard work, Sarah discovered she had a unique, colorful and painterly style.  She is known for her expressive portraits of barnyard animals that possess charm and humor and wild animals that she paints in their natural habitat.

“I see my artwork as an opportunity to make my patrons smile and feel joy… the passion I feel in painting my animals is something I want to share…those who love animals will feel my purpose and understand this love.”

As La Posada’s Art Curator, I had seen Sarah J. Webber’s art not only in national magazines but also in special exhibitions like Cow Girl Up!  When I approached her and asked that she join our Gallery Collection of American Artists at La Posada she was receptive, and the rest is history.  She is one of the most popular artists in Santa Fe.  I am thrilled that she is OURS!!!

Let me know if you are interested in collecting the work of Sarah J. Webber.  I am happy to help you.
