Experience the Arts in Santa Fe with Art Curator Receptions, Artists Painting in our Lobby, Gallery Collection Tours, Memoir Writing Classes and More
Known as “The Art Hotel of New Mexico”, La Posada was the first place to show and sell original art in public – decades before any galleries opened in Santa Fe. That program has thrived until the present day with an evolving gallery collection, Art Curator, art programs and more. La Posada is now proud to be a participant in the new citywide Santa Fe Artists in Residence program.
Artists paint in our lobby on Thursdays and Saturdays from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm.
Every Friday, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, join us for a chef’s reception, art talk by our art curator, Sara Eyestone, and optional gallery collection tour.
The literary arts are also celebrated with memoir writing classes every Thursday morning from 8:45 am – 11:00 am in the Staab House. Just bring a pen and tablet – no experience necessary.
Join these artists as they paint in the Lobby Thursdays and Saturdays from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
