Artist in Residence Program at La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa

Experience the Arts in Santa Fe with Artist and Art Curator Receptions, Print Signings, Gallery Collection Tours, Memoir Writing Classes and More

Known as “The Art Hotel of New Mexico”, La Posada was the first place to show and sell original art in public – decades before any galleries opened in Santa Fe. That program has thrived since the 1930’s until the present day with an evolving gallery collection, Art Curator, events and more.

La Posada is now proud to be a participant in the annual citywide Santa Fe Artists in Residence program starting Friday, November 16, 2018 with activities every Thursday, Friday and Saturday through Thursday, February 28, 2019.

Sara Eyestone, the Artist in Residence at La Posada, is a highly accomplished painter and curator of the resort’s gallery collection. Join her for a glass of wine, print signing and lively discussion in the library each Thursday and Saturday at 4:00 pm.

Every Friday, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, join her in the lobby for a chef’s reception, art talk  and optional gallery collection tour.

The literary arts are also celebrated with memoir writing classes every Thursday morning from 8:45 am – 11:00 am in the Staab House. Just bring a pen and tablet – no experience necessary.

Sara Eyestone may be contacted on her cell phone at 505-577-4991 as well.
