Ski Santa Fe

Just 16 miles from the City Different, Ski Santa Fe provides wonderfully convenient and high-quality skiing and snowboarding. With a 10,350-foot base elevation, the ski area receives a healthy 225 inches of annual snowfall and employs snowmaking capabilities on better than half its skiable acreage. You’ll find more than 80 trails across 1,725 feet of vertical, plus a freestyle terrain park.

Throw in the private and group lessons for all ages offered at the Snow Sports School and a fully equipped rental shop, and you’ve got everything you need for slopeside thrills up in the Sangre de Cristos here, all within shouting distance of La Posada de Santa Fe.

Sipapu Ski & Summer Resort

Farther north but still an easy hour-and-a-half drive from La Posada de Santa Fe, Sipapu claims New Mexico’s longest ski season, typically kicking off in November and running through April. The slopes have a base elevation of 8,200 feet and 1,055 feet of vertical, with 41 trails split between beginner, intermediate, advanced, and expert runs. Sipapu also maintains three terrain parks and a ski school and offers equipment for rent as well.

Sipapu receives some 190 inches of snow each year, bolstered by state-of-the-art snowmaking technology.

Taos Ski Valley

About two hours from our Tribute Portfolio resort, Taos Ski Valley makes a high-elevation snow sports paradise spread between a 9,200-foot base and an impressive 12,481-foot summit. The nearly 1,300-acre ski resort receives an average dumping of 300 inches of the white stuff, with snowmaking equipped for all the beginner and intermediate slopes. Taos Ski Valley offers more than 100 trails accessed by 14 lifts.
