You most certainly did! A tradition in Mexico, tequila donkeys are also a popular custom in the American Southwest: a surefire way to take any celebration to a completely other level.
Our La Posada de Santa Fe tequila donkey is named Conchita, and if you would like she can be a part of your wedding festivities—to the absolute delight of each and every one of your guests, we’re pretty confident in predicting.
If so requested, Conchita will “crash” your wedding reception hauling some welcome ingredients in her saddlebag cooler boxes: tequila, limes, and salt. As the donkey’s handlers lead her around the ballroom, a bartender will whip up tequila shots for everybody. Conchita’s a wonderfully gentle and amiable equine, and she leaves no shortage of beaming smiles in her wake.
