Upscale Dining at Boutique Santa Fe Hotel

Santa Fe has no shortage of gourmet restaurants, and as a guest here at La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa, they’re all at your fingertips. But some of the very finest gastronomy actually goes down right here on our very grounds: Join us for New Mexico fine dining of world-class caliber!

We owe our creative and high-end cuisine, which evokes plenty of Southwestern spirit and draws upon regional tradition while keeping an eye to the international cookery spectrum, to our Executive Chef Tom Kerpon. Chef Tom’s an alum of such top-tier establishments as Bishops Lodge Resort, Inn of the Anasazi, and Hotel Crescent Court, and sits on the board of the Santa Fe Wine & Chile Festival.

Julia, A Spirited Restaurant & Bar

Our flagship restaurant is named, of course, for our muse, Julia Staab, the bygone (or, more accurately, not-quite-bygone) hostess of this historic property. The beautifully laid-out Julia, A Spirited Restaurant & Bar delights diners from 7 AM to 9:30 PM.

Here you can tuck into a breakfast of, say, Bagel & Lox, Granola & Yogurt, Huevos Rancheros, Steak & Eggs, Southwestern Eggs Benedict, or perhaps a Breakfast Burrito. Come back to embrace lunchtime at its most elegant with such fare as our Street Tacos, Blistered Shishito Peppers, Cubano Sandwich, Seared Crab Cake Salad, or our Julia or The Staab burgers.

For dinner, prepare yourself for Christmas Tamales, Crab Enchiladas, Firecracker Shrimp Cocktail, Charred Corn Bisque, or Cucumber Gazpacho (among other starters) ahead of an entrée of, for example, our Roasted Half Chicken, Grilled Carne Asada, Maple Leaf Duck Breast, or Al Pastor.

Other Dining (and Wining) at La Posada de Santa Fe

Pay a visit to our celebrated lounge, the Staab House, open from 11 AM to midnight Sunday through Thursday, and 11 AM to 1 AM Friday and Saturday. In this cozy and charming setting, you can pair bar fare with the perfect libations—including such signature cocktails as our “Juliarita,” a highlight of the Official Santa Fe Margarita Trail.

Kiva fireplaces and a Santa Fe skyscape await you, meanwhile, at the Patio Restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The tapas menu here includes such plated-up perfections as Green Chile Maize Stuffed Quail, Smoked Deviled Eggs, Mezcal Braised Octopus, Pork Tamales, and Piquillo Relleno.

Speaking of tapas, it takes center stage at Julia’s Social Club, our very own tapas bar pouring a rich lineup of Portuguese, Spanish, and South American wines as well as some swoony mezcal, tequila, and craft beer.
